Our Pastor

Atai Udofia

Pastor Udofia was born and raised in Akwa Ibom State Nigeria.  His father, late Pastor Sampson Udofia, was pastor of the Apostolic Church, Ikot Akpa Idem. 
 
Atai received the call of God when he was twelve years old.  He had his first baptism of the Holy Spirit at Abak Annual Area Convention. Following this, he became a very active and devoted Christian.  After graduating from Western Annang Secondary School in Ukanafun, he attended Utu Abak Bible Institute where he received pastoral training.
 
Pastor Udofia started United Christian Bible Church at Ikeja-Lagos Nigeria in 1992 and served as their senior pastor until 1996.  Upon moving to the United States in 2000, Atai began serving as a senior Sunday school teacher and outreach ministry leader at Christ Apostolic Church Mattapan in Boston.  He continued his education at Gordon-conwell Theological Seminary, Boston, MA, where he graduated in 2004 with a diploma in theology.  Pastor Udofia was licensed and ordained in 2006 with International Ministerial Fellowship and now serves as senior pastor at United Christian Family Ministries.
 
For more than nine years, Atai has also worked in the service industry assisting senior citizens in nursing homes and group homes. He uses his work experienced to expand his ministry calling.
 
Atai is married to Evangelist Teeta Udofia, and they have four children.
